Antiseen profile, 1989
Published in Jack Thompson’s fanzine Swellsville; reads like something I could only have originally written for Creem‘s metal magazine. Since Creem never “killed” anything I wrote, my best guess is that it was left without a home when the magazine went bust. Last I heard of Jeff Clayton, he was covering “When Electricity Came To Arkansas” on a fairly nifty 2018 Black Oak Arkansas tribute CD called Mutants of the Monster. But judging from discogs, the unreleased-at-presstime album I refer to as We are Going to Eat You wound up coming out in 1989, as a “shortlived fanclub”-only release called Live at the Park Elevator.
